Metso Fluid bed electric heaters

The main advantage regarding the energy efficiency of Metso electric heater lies in very quick response time to fluctuating thermal demand. The electric elements are located in the bed of fluidized material inside a stainless steel tubes. The gap between the element and the inside of the tube is minimal hence the thermal resistance is very low allowing the heat to penetrate to the outside of the tube very easily. On the outside of the tube the constantly moving bed of mineral receives the heat generated by the elements in a rapid and very efficient process.

• One of the most important is its small size. The footprint of the EH 120 is only 1.000 x 1.350m x 2.600m high.
