Liebherr MTC 1900 Mast type cranes

The MTC 1900 is a universal mast-type crane with a non-metallic slewing bearing, which with a maximum outreach of 60 metres and a lifting capacity of up to 75 tonnes makes it a compact and maintenance-friendly machine for offshore service activities.

A-frame

The ergonomic and comfortable features of our cabs increase concentration levels. With the integrated noise protection, windshield wiper and air conditioning, a consistently high level of safety and productivity is guaranteed.

Lattice tubular boom

The basic elements of the lattice tubular boom include the boom foot with the main and auxiliary hoisting winches, as well as the head with optional auxiliary hoist and hook block. Owing to the different lengths of the boom, the cranes can also be individually adapted to your requirements.

Hydrostatic drive

Closed hydraulic loops are used for all main functions such as lifting, turning and luffing. The crane operator benefits from extremely precise control, the service personnel benefit from a minimum number of components and the operating company benefits from reduced fuel consumption.

Kingpin

The kingpin is a pillar welded to the ship or platform. It is used to support and mount the slewing platform and offers high safety against overturning in the event of bearing damage.

Paintwork

To be able to defy offshore environmental conditions, the standard paintwork consists of multilayer painting for optimal conservation.

Litronic crane control system

The control system developed by Liebherr focuses on precision, safety and productivity.

Machine housing

The machine housing is made from robust steel components. All components such as the drive unit, oil tank and control cabinets inside the machine housing are easily accessible. If required, they can be lifted on deck with the assembly crane.

For the assembly / disassembly of components for maintenance and repair.

Overload monitoring system

Enables the crane operator to release the rope in case the hook is entangled. The overload monitoring system can be activated either manually or automatically.
