World Group

Established in 1988, World Group always upholds the concept of “serve the country by developing industry”. World Group has become one of the most famous enterprise groups in the machinery industry of Jiangsu Province through 20 years of hard work and sincere business operation. World Group is one of China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises, the largest private enterprise of Zhenjiang City, and the “Star Enterprise of Jiangsu Province”. World Heavy Industry, established in 2007, is an important strategic company of World Group. The company is planned to cover an area of 1,500 mu, and be built with total investment of 10 billion Yuan. It is expected that 2.8 billion Yuan will be invested in the first phase construction. As of the end of 2009, 1.8 billion Yuan has been invested in the project, and workshops of 120,000m2 have been put into use and the annual sales amount reaches 2 billion Yuan. 

Equipped with various kinds of advanced imported equipments, such as large gantry type CNC double-column horizontal boring and milling machines, IGM welding robots, CNC vertical machining center, and CNC flame cutting machines, the company has a leading machining capability in the industry. The main products include: loaders of 30, 50, and 60 series; hydraulic excavators of 1.8t, 3.5t, 6t, 8.5t, 13t, 21t, 24t, 33t, 36t, 42t and 70t; as well as various kinds of hoisting machinery.

New workshops of 60,000m2 have been built with 1.5 billion Yuan’s investment and put into use in 2010. In the second phase, the company plans to develop new products like rotary drilling rig, crawler crane and pump truck, etc. and more than 80% products will be developed and manufactured independently. It is expected that in 2018, the total annual output will reach 150,000 sets of machines, and World Heavy Industry will become a large construction machinery enterprise with output value of 50 billion Yuan.
